Blocking the bike lane in order to make delivery and line his pockets with cash, while I get pushed into the car lane and puts my life in jeopardy, which is more important????
I calledd JULIUS SIVERT INC 215-455-1600 and voice my concern about the inconsidered truck delivery person

Note that the bike lane signage says "no parking", not "no stopping". This driver has pulled all the way to the curb and turned on his flashers. (Garyphl happened to snap his picture while the flashers were in the illuminated part of their cycle.)
We may not like the law, but this driver (who is doing his job so that people can eat) is in complete conformance with it. Let's lobby to make the law even better. In the meantime, we'll have to share a lane with motorists, as we have done since the motorists showed up decades ago (and joined the cyclists who were already using the roads).
Be sure to check for traffic before you merge; don't just swerve into the other lane.
